A former employee of Bond Bakery and Pettit Construction Company; a Methodist.
Also survived by sons, James Walter Addison (1953–1979) and Rev. Terry Lynn "Pete" Addison (1955–2007); daughters, Judy Lydia and Becky Rogers; brothers, George Butler "Scottie" Addison (1920–1981) and John William "Bill" Addison (1922–2003); sister, Helen Beatrice Addison Crossley (1921–2008); three grandchildren.
Services were held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel by Rev. Harry McAbee and Rev. Tom Miller; burial in Sunset Memorial Park.
