Mrs. Henerietta Bilyeu, 91 years, 6 months, 16 days,, of Meta, died Wednesday morning, October 10, 1973, at a Jefferson City hospital.
Mrs. Bilyeu was born March 24, 1882, near Van Cleve, the daughter of Marvel and Elizabeth Orr. On Sept. 3, 1899. She was married to Lewis A. Bilyeu, who died Sept. 23, 1957.

She Lived in the Meta area most of her life and was a member of the Campground Christian Church near Meta.

Survivors include: three sons, Winifred Bilyeu, Meta; Mardie Bilyeu, Jefferson City, and Harold Bilyeu, St. Elizabeth; three daughters, Mrs. Lennie Means, Mrs. Vada Barnhart, and Mrs. Mae Pendleton all of Meta.
One brother, Elmer Orr, Clinton; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Wiethoff, St. Louis; 14 grandchildren; 42 great- grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday at the Stevinson Funeral Chapel, Meta, with the Rev. Earl Jones and the Rev. Mark Sooter officiating. Burial was in the Stokes Cemetery near Meta.

Pallbearers were: Charles Lewis Barnhart, Carthel Pendleton, Gary Bilyeu, Ron Bilyeu, Lewis Barnett and Dallas Ahart.
