Arnold A Orr, Sr., long time resident of the Wiley community, died Thursday evening at Sacred Heart hospital in Lamar after a long illness. He was 69 years of age.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 4, from the Wiley Chruch of the Brethren, with the Rev. Russell G. West officiating. Buriel will be at Fairmount cemetery in Larmar. Kirkpatrick-Duggan Mortuary has charge of arrangements. Orr was born in Meta, Mo. in 1886. He moved to the Wiley-McClave community 35 years ago where he engaged in farming. He was a member of the Wiley Church of the Brethren.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosie Orr of Wiley, two daughters, Mrs. Irene Brookhart of Lamar, ad Mrs Lela Centner of Wiley; two sons, Arnold Orr Jr. of Lamar, and James Orr of Denver, three brothers, Jim Orr of Montrose, Mr. R. E. Orr of Lamar, amd M. E. Orr of Blairstown, Mo., four sisters, Mrs. Bill Barnhart of Jefferson City, Mo., Mrs. Cora Kusewett of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Henretta Blue of Meta, and Mrs. Myrtle Whethoff of St. Louis and nine grandchldren.
