Maria A. Baker, 82, Coalport, died at 2 a.m. Aug. 24, 1976, at Altoona Hospital. Born March 17, 1894, in Van Ormer, daughter of Philip and Eliza Jane (Keith) Boring. Preceded in death by husband, Harry, Oct. 24, 1955, and four daughters and a son. Survived by these children: Mrs. Charles (Sylvia) O'Shall, Coalport; Mrs. Paul (Orveda) Weakland, Fallentimber; Martin, Flinton; Jack, Coalport; and Harry R., Conemaugh, also 26 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Lottie Kava, Irvona. Member of Hollentown Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday at Wendell W. Lloyd Funeral Home, Irvona, the Rev. William H. Olsen. Interment, Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at funeral home.
