Mrs. Weakland, 71, of Fallentimber RD 1, died Sunday, Oct. 25, 1992, at Altoona Hospital. She was born May 7, 1921, in Flinton, the daughter of Harry Roy and M. Adeline (Boring) Baker. She married Paul L. Weakland. He died Oct. 2, 1987. Surviving are eight children: Lois Peacock of Coalport, Patricia Lloyd of Westover, Charlotte Kava of Flinton, Mary Kay Stine and Jackie Hescox of Glasgow, Paul Jr. of Fallentimber RD, Henry of Altoona and Debra at home, 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister: Jack of Coalport, Harry of Conemaugh and Sylvia Gates of Colver. Mrs. Weakland attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Hollentown. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Donald J. Gibbons Funeral Home, Coalport, and noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Hollentown.
WEAKLAND – Services for Orveda Jane Weakland of Fallentimber RD 1 will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at C&MA Church, Hollentown, by the Rev. Clyde May and Rev. John Dallape. Interment at Beaver Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Donald J. Gibbons Funeral Home, Coalport, and noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the C&MA Church, Hollentown.
