Funeral for Frances Garnett, 87, of Decatur was to be today at 6 p.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Compton and Rev. John Taylor officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. The family was to receive friends today from 4 to 6 at the funeral home.
Miss Garnett died Wednesday at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. She was born March 2, 1908, in Morgan County. She was a bookkeeper with Peek Old-Cadillac and a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include one brother, Roy Garnett of Decatur; and one sister, Sadie Barrett of Dectur.
