Death Claims A.H. Garnett

Final rites for Arthur Henry Garnett, 71, Seventh Avenue West, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Central Baptist church.

Rev. Milford Walker will conduct the services and interment will follow in city cemetery, Brown directing.

Mr. Garnett died Sunday at his home after a long illness.

Survivors include, two daughters, Miss Francis Garnett, and Mrs. Ray Barrett, both of Decatur; five sons, James N. Garnett, Decatur; Howard A. Garnett, Charlotte, North Carolina; William B. Garnett, Decatur; John Grant Garnett, Salunda, South Carolina; and Roy Garnett, Decatur; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Hokett, Decatur; Mrs. F.E. Farley, and Mrs. Celestio Ennis, both of Moulton; ten grandchildren, and a number of other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Arthur Nebrig, Charlie Edwards, J.N. Norwood, Tom Nevell, Leon Reeves, and David Gibson.

The deceased was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Decatur.
