William B. Garnett, 49, 618 6th Avenue SW, died Friday night at Decatur General Home.
Funeral services will be today at 4 p.m. from the First Baptist Chjurch with the Rev. W.K. Stephenson officiating.
Burial will be in City Cemetery with Guntharp directing.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Willis Hudson, Decatur; one son, Howard Garnett, U.S. Navy; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Barrett, Decatur; Miss Frances Garnett, Decatur; three brothers, Roy Garnett, Decatur; Grant Garnett, North Carolina; Howard Garnett, North Carolina; one granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be T.W. Black, Odie Cavnar, Royce M. Bridges, Roy Todd, Ray Barrett, and Louis Namie.
The body will remain at the funeral home until time to be taken to the church to lie in state from 3 until 4 p.m.
