Adelina E. Pardieck, 106, of 14th Street died at 4 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
A former employee of the shirt factory, she and her husband owned Pardieck Garage and Hardware in Jonesville from 1923 to 1960 and, along with three of their children, owned Ace Hardware and Implement Store on 25th Street from 1960 to 1983.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and Women's Missionary League and was a former 4-H leader.
Funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, with the Revs. Mark R. Teike and Dale Trimberger officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed and Jewell Chapel on 25th Street, and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Columbus Regional Hospital Home Service, Lutheran Women's Missionary League or the donor's choice of charities.
Mrs. Pardieck was born at Whitecreek June 28, 1892, the daughter of Herman and Elizabeth Probst Schuette. She married Ed J. Pardieck Dec. 28, 1916. He died Oct. 7, 1979.
Survivors include sons, Orville E. and William H. Pardieck, both of Columbus; daughters, Evelyn Armuth and Leona Pardieck, both of Columbus; a sister, Emilia Price of Seymour; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Fred, Harry, Chris, George, Ernest, Wilhelm, Gustav, Herman, Emil and Carl Schuette; and a sister, Minnie Evans.
