Funeral services for Gustaz F. “Gus” Schuette, 90, 506 West Market St., Athens, will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens, Jack Baldwin officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Schuette died Monday at the Hartselle Medical Center.
He was a member of the first Christian Church of Athens, a Mason and was a retired manager of Fly Manufacturers Corp.
Survivors include one son George William Schuette, Indiana; one daughter, Doris Thrasher, Hartselle; two sisters Lena Pardieck, Columbus, Ind. and Amelia Price, Jonesville, Ind.; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
