Services for Horace Walden will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Williams White Columns Funeral Home, with burial in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Washington County. Mr. Walden, 73, died Saturday, June 24, 2000. Born in Glascock County, he had lived in Baldwin County most of his life. He was a retired employee of Central State Hospital and a Baptist.
Survivors include his children, Helen Horton, Melinda Collins and Horace Walden,Jr. all of Milledgeville; sister and brother, Lois Babb of Millesdgeville and Arthur Walden of Statesboro; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
