Miss Annie Edna Walden, 27, entered into rest at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 1961, at Mitchell, Georgia. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Nebo Primitive Baptist Church with the Elder Ralph W. Riner and Elder D.J. Newman officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Wilcher, Dwight Kicklighter, Horace Kelly, Hebert Raley, Lawrence Hilson and Thurmond Todd. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. W.D. Jennings Jr., Dr. R.C. Moffatt, Dr. C.M. Rhodes, Dr. H.S. Phillips, Dr. M.M. Alvarez, Dr. H.T. Edmundson, J.H. Bussey Ernest Clark, James Harmon, Porter King, Max Haughee and J.H. Bryan. She was a native of Glascock County and was employed at the Forest Hills Veterans Hospital. She was a member of Mount Nebo Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include her parents, Elder Gus E. Walden and Annie Lou Smith Walden; three sisters, Mrs. Warren Reynolds of Sandersville, Mrs. G.E. Snider of Gibson and Mrs. Charles Nesmith of Milledgeville; four brothers, Arthur, Horace, Tommy and Samuel Walden, all of Mitchell, and several nieces and nephews. S.A. Blanchard Funeral Home.
