On January 19, 1946, she married Melvin Horace Forrest who preceded her in death on February 18, 1998.
Surviving is: one son, Melvin Douglas Forrest of Arnold, Mo; three daughters, Wanda Lou Brown of St. Louis, Mo.; Deloris Jean Cox of Belleville, Ill., and Carolyn Ann Findley of St. Louis, Mo.
