Charleston - Richard Park Britt, 88 years old, a lifelong resident of Charleston, died Sunday after an illness of several years. He was born Dec. 8, 1877, in Hickman County, Kentucky. On May 3, 1903, he married Nora Elizabeth Britt.
Survivors include, four sons, Herbert Britt, Edgar Britt, Jewell Britt and Ralph Britt; four daughters, Mrs. Clarence Shively, Mrs. Melvin Forrest, Mrs. Doss Morris and Mrs. Joe Faire; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are incomplete at the McMikle Funeral Home.
