Mrs. Anna Carlson, 629 East Twelfth street, died at 11:15 p.m. Monday at her home. She had been in failing health for the last 10 years and seriously ill four days.
Mrs. Carlson was born Oct. 27, 1854 in Sweden and was married to Victor Carlson there Dec. 31, 1880. The couple came to America in 1884, direct to Burlington, and in 1897 came to Davenport, residing here since. Mrs. Carlson was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and of the Ladies' Aid society of the church.
Surviving besides the widower are two sons, Carl L. and Edwin A. Carlson of Davenport; one sister, Mrs. Louise Johnson of Moline, one brother, Alfred Peterson of Galesburg, and a grandson, Robert Carlson of Davenport. Two daughters and two sons preceded her in death.
The body was taken to the Runge mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Grace Lutheran Church. Burial will be made in Pine Hill Cemetery.
