Funeral services for William E. Barrick Sr., 73, of Mechanicsburg, will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Young's United Methodist Church, Shermans Dale.

He died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999 at Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Township.

Born May 13, 1926 in Carlisle, a son of the late Ellis and Chole Marquart Barrick, he was an avid jewelry maker for the past 25 years and was a retired welder for Pennsy Supply.

He was a member of Young's United Methodist Church, Shermans Dale, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict.

Mr. Barrick is survived by his wife, Marian E.; a son, William E. Jr. of Phoenixville; five brothers, Ralph L. of Ricke Lake, Wis., Richard L. of Mechanicsburg, Henry H. of Carlisle, Glenn E. of Lake Butler, Fla. and Harold L. of Shermans Dale; three sisters, Arlene Kitchens of Windsor, S.C., Evelyn Hetrick of Mesa, Ariz. and Elinor Hetrick of Ray City, Ga.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The Rev. R. Bruce Woolever will officiate at services. Burial will be in the Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Township.
