Ralph Lawrence Barrick, 94, of Rice Lake passed away on October 1, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield. He was born May 26, 1924 in Carlisle, PA to Ellis and Chloe (Marquart) Barrick. He married the love of his life, Romaine Sloop, in Hagerstown, MD on December 28, 1948. Ralph retired from Bangs Painting Service in Allen, PA after a long career, and moved to Rice Lake in 1995.
He is survived by his wife, Romaine of Rice Lake; children: Lavonne (Robert) Furlott of Rice Lake and Stephen (Valerie) Barrick of Great Falls, MT; one granddaughter, Marsha Barrick, also of Great Falls; brothers: Richard of Mechanicsburg, PA and Glenn of Lake Butler, FL; sisters: Arlene Kitchens of Windsor, SC, Evelyn Hetrick and Elinor Hetrick of Shermansdale, PA. Ralph was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremy Barrick; brothers: Raymond, Dale, William, Henry, Donald and Harold.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 PM Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Seventh Day Adventist Church - Rice Lake with Pastor John Redlich officiating. Burial will be in Nora Cemetery. Visitation will be held for 1/2 hour prior to the service.
