George Wesley McClain died at the Bernard Skin and Cancer Hospital in St. Louis. He had cancer of the lip, and had surgery on December 15th. He developed pneumonia on the 16th, and died 5 days later. He was taken back to Kennett, MO, for burial. Since his wife was buried in 1934 at Sumach Cemetery, I assume that he was taken there also, but there is no definite proof of that.
