Myrtle was the daughter of George Wesley and Ollie May McClain of Dunklin Missouri. She was the wife of James Albert Fisher (1901-1966). They were married on the 23rd of September 1922 in Missouri. Myrtle died in childbirth. The newborn was born and died on Thursday 9 August 1922, and Myrtle died the following day, August 10th. Myrtle was a sister of Effie Ester (McClain) Waddell and Eva McClain and to 4 brothers Ethel, Eldie, Raymond, and Herbert. She was buried at Sumach Cemetery north of Kennett Missouri.
