Elizabeth Matilda Willard, daughter of the late Mark and Elizabeth Jolliff Judd, was born February 7, 1884 in Rover, Missouri and departed this life February 21, 1973 in the West Plains Memorial Hospital, West Plains, at the age of 89 years and 14 days.

She was united in marriage June 5, 1901 at Rover, Missouri to Posey Woodside Willard, who preceded her in death in August 1961.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Alice Bales and Mrs. Irma Judd, Thomasville, Missouri and Mrs. Mildred Williams, Nash, Texas; one stepson, William H. Peters, Nash, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 9 great step grandchildren. A host of relatives and friends will mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, one sister, two half brothers and one half sister.

She was of the Free Will Baptist belief and had been a Christian for over 40 years.
