She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Irma Judd, and one half-brother, Herbert Peters.

Funeral services for Alice Clara Bales, age 81, of Thomasville, was held Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Thomasville with Rev. Grover Pingleton officiating.
Interment was in Huddleston Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of West Plains.
Survivors include five sons, Willard Bales of Alton, Missouri; Johnny Bales of Oglesby, Illinois; Donie Bales of Thayer, Missouri; Bill Bales of West Plains, Missouri; and Jack Bales of High Ridge, Missouri; two daughters, Ellen Morris and Jo Williams of Thomasville, Missouri; one sister, Mildred Williams of Texarkana, Texas; 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
