Mrs. Elizabeth Judd, who resided 3 1/2 miles east of Rover, passed away Friday morning, March 20, 1931 at 5:30 o'clock. Death being due to old age and a complication of diseases. She has been living for several years with her son near Rover. Mrs. Judd was born in Oregon County, July 9, 1846 and spent her lifetime in and around Rover. She has an aged sister and brother who have both passed 80 years of age and are still living near where she died. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon by the Rev. Kimbrough of Rover and she was laid to rest by the side of her husband Mark Judd.

She leaves to mourn her death a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many friends. She was a faithful church worker and liked by everyone who knew her. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Miller and Mrs. Tilda Willard both of Thomasville and one son, George Jolliff, at whose home she died. Mother dear, how we miss you. You were with us here so long. You have taken all the sunshine from our once bright, happy home. By A Relative.
