Sharpsburg -- FRED F. REMSBURG, 75, 209-E Main St., died Friday at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital, Washington Courthouse, Ohio. Born in Sharpsburg, he was a son of the late Cyrus hicks and Alice Ann Nicodemus Remsburg.

He was vice-president and director of Hoffman Chevrolet Sales, Inc. and affiliated companies, and an officer and financial advisor of the present corporation. He was associated with Hoffman Chevrolet for 52 years. He was the president of the Sharpsburg Bank of Washington County. He was a deacon and elder of the Consitory of the Christ Reformed United Church of Christ of Sharpsburg. He was a member of Eureka Lodge No. 105 AF&AM of Sharpsburg, a member of the Conococheague Sportsmen Club and H&H Sportsmen Club.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mildred L. Knode Remsburg; two daughters, Mrs. Preston C. Shellenberger; and Mrs. Alice Ann Deitz,both of Hagerstown; and four grandchildren.

Services were held at the Christ Reformed Church, Sharpsburg. Burial was in Mt. View Cemetery.
