He was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Keedysville. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Olive Clopper Remsburg; daughters, Mrs. Claude Hackenberry, Martinsburg; Mrs. Robert Ahalt, Middletown; Miss Kathryn Remsburg, Hagerstown; Mrs. Ralph Baker, Hagerstown; sons, Ellis G and Harold C., both of Hagerstown, Thomas H. and Russell F. Remsburg, both at home; sister, Mrs. Ellis Hoover, Hagerstown; brothers, W. Howard Remsburg, Keedysville, J. Edgar Remsburg, Sharpsburg; also nine grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro where services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. Richard Manning officiating. Interment will be made in Mt. View Cemetery, Sharpsburg. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to the heart fund. Friends will meet at the funeral home this evening.
