Florinda Bell Jackson was the daughter of Ferdinand Cortez Jackson and Marrinza Jane Hain Jackson. She married Robert Amos Morehouse on March 13, 1901, in Tippecanoe County, IN.

MULBERRY - Florinda Bell Jackson Morehouse, 87, of Rt. 7, Frankfort, died at 11:50 PM Friday [Jan. 7, 1967] in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, where she was a patient eight days after being ill several years. Born in the Badger Grove community, she was married to Robert Amos Morehouse in 1901; he survives.

Mrs. Morehouse had lived in the Shadeland area until moving here in 1945. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 459.

Survivng with the husband are three sons, Wilferd A. Morehouse, also of Rt. 5, Frankfort, Edward Morehouse of Darlington and Robert A. Morehouse of Detroit; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Smith of Earl Park, Mrs. Lorrene Smith and Mrs. Marjorie Shiers, both of Lafayette; a brother, Edward Jackson of Lafayette; 22 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
