BATTLE GROUND--Mrs. Hattie M. (Jackson) Henderson, 89, died at 6:25 p.m. Wednesday at William Ross Annex, Lafayette. She had been ill since Jan. 28 and a patient at the annex since March 9.
She was born near Badger Grove and spent most of her life in the Badger Grove and Mt. Zion communities. She had lived in Battle Ground since 1945. She was married in 1895 to Joseph W. Henderson, a farmer, who died in 1949.
Mrs. Henderson was a member of Badger Grove Community Church.
Surviving are a son, Lowell D. Henderson of Rt. 2, Lafayette; a brother, Edward Jackson of West Lafayette, and a sister, Mrs. Robert A. Moorehouse of Mulberry.
