He had been in failing heart the past year. Born in Tippecanoe county, he was a lifetime resident of the area. In 1920 he was married to Annabel Driscoll, who survives. He was a 50 year member of F&AM Lodge 123 and a member of National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs Marian Callahan of Eaton, Ohio, and Mrs Lyle (Alice) Edenburn of Brownsburg; and two sons, John D Jackson of West Lafayette, and J Lee Jackson of Greenview, Illinois.
