They came to live in Donaldson, Frailey Twp., Schuylkill Co., Pa. where Martin and sons were miners. One son, Benedict tragically died as so many others did at that time in a mining accident in 1879. Mother to 13 children :
1. Albertina (1841-?) came to America at a later date and married Johann Berger and lived in Coal Twp., Northumberland Co. Pa.
2. Emilie-Amelia (1843-1911) married William Kleibenstein.
3. Bertram (1844-1919).
4. Anthony Anton (1847-1920)
5. Benedict (1849-1879 )who married a Catherine Hatter, and had three daughters.
6. Louisa (1850-1851-2) who died by the time her family immigrated.
7. Louis b. abt. 1852 in Switzerland and was on the ships list, a male, age 3-4 months, he was not a daughter Louisa.
8. Caroline (1856-1862)
9. Arnold B. (1858-1935).
10. Louisa F.(1861-1930) married John A. Chalfont, and moved to Columbia, Lancaster Co. Pa.
