A lifelong resident of Catherine township, died at his home one mile from Williamsburg Tuesday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock, death being attributed to a complication of ailments following a stroke of apoplexy suffered several years ago. He was a son of John and Mary Isenberg and was born in Catherine township on Sept 21, 1855. On Oct. 10, 1878, he was united in marriage with Martha Bacon, who survives, with one son and four daughters, Scott Isenburg, Mrs. Annie Weaver and Mrs. Bertha Robeson, all of Williamsburg, R. D.; Miss Lola Isenberg, at home, and Mrs. Edna Cogan (sic-Kooken) of Tyrone, R. D. Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one brother and three sisters, Seymour Isenberg and Mrs. Lucy Brantner, both of Williamsburg, and Mrs. Minnie Acker and Miss Alice Isenberg, both of Martinsburg. Mr. Isenberg was a retired farmer and a member of the Yellow Springs Lutheran church. The body will be taken to the home this evening from the Bechtel funeral home in Williamsburg and funeral services will be conducted at the home Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in charge of his pastor, Rev. V. D. Naugle. Interment will be made in the Yellow Springs Lutheran cemetery.
