Mrs. John Isenberg

Mrs. John Isenberg, near Cove Forge, died on January 14, aged 79 years. She is survived by ten children, one of whom is Walter Isenberg of New Enterprise.

Death of Mrs. Mary Isenberg
Mrs. Mary Isenberg, wife of John Isenberg, died at their home near Cove Forge, January 14, aged 79 years. Her funeral occurred on the 17th, Rev. W. H. Spangler, her pastor, preached the funeral sermon to a very large congregation. Mrs. Isenberg united with the church more than fifty years ago and was a pious, exemplary christian, a devoted wife, and mother of a large family of children. She is survived by seven sons and three daughters, Robert S., of Roaring Spring; Joseph, of Frankstown; Thornton B., of Martinsburg; Walter, of New Enterprise; Lewis, of Aetna; Mrs. Lucy Brantner, of Duncansville; Seymore, of Cove Forge; Albert, of Sabbath Rest; Minnie and Alice at home. Her remains were laid to rest in the Keller cemetery in Canoe valley.
