Robert T. Miller, 85, Geneseo, died Tuesday, May 6, (1980), in his home. Funeral services were to be held Friday, May 9, at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Pastor E. A. Schmidt, officiating. Pallbearers for the services were to be Dennis Shipman, Scott Shipman, Robert Shipman, Lanny Hintz, Mark Pobanz, Craig Miller and Bren Miller. Organist was to be Mrs. Norma Miller with Mrs. Virginia Benningfield, vocalist. Burial was to be in Edford township cemetery. Memorials may be left to St. Peter's church. Mr. Miller was born May 31, 2894, in Edford township, the son of Albert and Johanna Parpart Miller, he was reared and educated in Edford. He married Meta Neumann, January 1, 1920, in Edford township. She died March 23, 1971. Mr. Miller was active in farming until his death. He belonged to St. Peter's church, was a veteran of World War I and was a trustee of the Edford township cemetery. He is survived by a son, Leyden Shipman, Geneseo, one sister, Mrs. Walter Hintz, Geneseo, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.. He was preceded in death by his wife, a granddaughter, two brothers and two sisters.
