Shipman Funeral to be Tomorrow
Native Edford Township Resident Succumbs in Home of Sister
Geneseo, Nov. 10 = Funeral services for Mrs. Trace Matilda Shipman, 45, who died in the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mrs. and Mrs. Walter Hintz in Edford township, at 2:30 yesterday morning following a year's illness, will be at 2 tomorrow aftermoon in the Hintz home and at 2:30 in St. Peter's Evangelical church in Edford township.
The Rev. G. D. Fleer, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Edford cemetery.
Mrs. Shipman was born in Edford Nov. 23. 1890, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert R. Miller, ans was educated in Edford schools. She was married to Leroy C. Shipman in Edford May 10, 1915. Most of her married life was spent in York, Neb., and she affiliated with the Methodist church there, leaving the St. Peter's Evangelical church of Edford township. Mr. Shipman died Feb. 1, 1927, and Mrs. Shipman returned to Edford a year ago.
She is survived by one son, Leyden Shipman; one daughter, Miss Dorothy; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Hintz and Miss Margaret Miller, and three bnrothers, Robert, Elmer and Lawrence Miller, all of Geneseo. A fourth brother, William Miller, died four years ago.
