"Bud" Vail was the son of Jeremiah Vail, Jr. and Eugenia Coleman and grandson of Jeremiah Vail, Sr. and Mary Bradley. He married Theo Doshia Bridges, son of James Berry Bridges and Allie D. Thomas, on Oct. 12, 1897 in Jackson Parish, LA. Their children were Bertha Louise (Tubberville), Casile, Ollie Ardilla (Williams), Joseph Oscar, Claude Carrell and Eva Levonia (Lum).
