CLYDE SHAW, GALENA MINING MAN DIES
Galena, Ks., Sept 29, 1952.--Clyde Shaw, 62 years old, Gelena resident all his life, died Saturday morning in a sanatorium at Norton, Ks., where he had been a patient five months.
Mr. Shaw, who was born in Galena, was a miner. He made his home with his mother, Mrs. Jane Shaw, 1014 Galena Ave.
Surviving besides his mother are three daughters, Mrs. William Lynch of Oregon and Misses June Shaw and Helen Shaw of Gelana; a son, Ted Shaw of Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers, Jim Shaw, Jess Shaw, and George Shaw of Galena; two sisters, Mrs. Harvey Eash of Tulsa and Mrs. Sherman Clendenning of Baxter Springs, and eight grandchildren.
An ambulance of the Poteet funeral home went to Norton yesterday to return the body to Galena for funeral services and burial.
