Jacob Marker, 69, a prominent Madison township farmer, died suddenly Wednesday morning at 8:30.

He was the son of Jacob and Elizabeth Marker and was born in Madison township Jan 23, 1865. He was married to Katie Mochel 42 years ago, who survives him with the following children, Clinton at home, Reuben of Mishawaka, and Samuel Marker of South Bend, and Mrs Ruth Green, also of South Bend.

His is survived by the following brothers and sisters, J Philip Marker, C Fred Marker, David W Marker, Henry J Marker, Mrs M J Mochel, all of Madison township,
Mrs N O Kelley of Mishawaka, Mrs Charles Weber and Mrs George Weber of South Bend, Mrs Fred Horein of Gaston, Oregon, besides a host of friends.

He was a member of the Zion Evangelical church.

Funeral arrangements not made as we go to press.
