Rev. U.S. Aswell, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate at services for Walter Andrus, 64, at Lafond and Son Funeral Home where all the bodies are resting. The service will be held at 10:45 a.m. The Rev. Alcide Sonnier will have a brief service for the other six.
Immediately after this service, the bodies of Mrs. Walter Andrus, 61; the Andrus couple's daughter, Mrs. Charles Bernard, 30, and her three children, Charles Bernard Jr., 5, David Bernard, 3, and Mark Bernard, 2, and another grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. Andrus, 3-year-old Joanne Andrus, will be taken to St. Landry Catholic Church where a solemn High Requiem Mass will be sung at 11:30 a.m. The body of Mr. Andrus will be rejoined in the funeral procession where it leaves St. Landry Church for burial.
Joanne Andrus is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Andrus.
