Mr. Claude Willard Chaliand of Rlmbey passed away in the Rlmbey Auxiliary Hospital on February 21, 1980 at the age of 91 years. Ha is survived by his loving wifa Lillie of Rimbey; two sons, Orris Chaliand of Rocky Mountain House, and Gien Challand of Rimbey; three daughters, Mrs. Yola Hanchar of Vernon, B.C., Mrs. Lela Scott of Calgary and Mrs. Alma Belt of Red Deer; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Chaliand was predeceased by two grandsons and a great-grandson Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 25, at 2 p.m. from the Church of the Nazarene in Rimbey with Pastor Gena Ratz and Pastor R. T. Sallick officiating. Interment will follow in the Bentley Cemetery.
