THE TOMB
Died---In this city, Dec. 27, of dropsy and heart disease, super induced by an attack of la grippe, Catherine B., wife of A.G. Williams, aged 60 years, 11 months and 18 days.
Mrs. Williams was the eldest child of Wm. B., and Susan C. Waddell. She was born in Mason county, Kentucky, January 15, 1830, and at the age of 19 was joined in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr. A.G. Williams, who lives to mourn the loss of the faithful, loving wife she was. At the age of 16 she professed faith in Jesus Christ and associated herself with the Baptist church, of which she has ever since been a faithful and consistent member. She had for several moths previous to her departure from earthly scenes and into her reward, been fully conscious of her critical condition and knew that her days on earth would soon be over, but she expressed no fear of death and declared she was ready and willing to go to meet her Lord and Maker. She was a loving, indulgent mother and a true hearted, faithful wife, and in the sorrow over the loss of whom the afflicted husband and three sons are joined by numerous friends who knew her long and well.
