William Scales Dies of Paralysis
William H. Scales, 53, died Saturday night of general paralysis. Surviving are the widow, one son, Roy, two daughters, Mrs. William Day and Mary Louise Scales; two sisters, Mrs. William Baxter and Mrs. Sam Holler; three brothers, Thomas and Fred of this county, and Shirley of Hindoostan. Mr. Scales had been living at the home of his brother, Thomas. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Hindoostan church in charge of Rev. Orla Bales. Pall-bearers will be Elmo Hays, Sam Hinkle, Tom Farris, Roy Burns, Arthur Parks, and Fred Stotts, and flower bearers will be Gilbert Scales, Earl Baxter, Kenneth Scales and Clarence Baxter.
