Loyd A. (Dick) Janke, 69, died at a local hospital. Funeral services will at Wilkerson-Hatch Chapel, Rec. Robert Lindsey officiating, burial in Waco Memorial Park. Waco Lodge No. 92 AF & AM will conduct Masonic graveside services.

Mr. Janke was born in McLennan County to Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Janke of Gerald. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for many years.

He married Florence Storm. They traveled extexsively throughout the US. He was a mason.

He spent his lifetime making ice cream for Robertson's Ice Cream Co. He made many people happy with the large selection of flavors. He was the only employee that was privilege to the recipe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a baby brother.

Survivors include: his wife, three sisters, Mrs. Oden Erwin of Waco, Mrs. Agnes Harris of Macon Ga., Mrs. Frances Wilshire of Elm Mott; four brothers, Roy Janke of Lake Orion, Mich., Louis Janke of Elm Mott, Herbert Janke of Ft. Worth, and Monroe Janke of Waco, several nieces and nephews.
