Born July 2, 1924, in Steele, she is the daughter of the late Ollie and Almeda Frakes.
She was also preceded in death by one son, and two sisters, Jean Johnson and Melba Lane.
She attended the Steele Public Schools where she graduated high school.
Adell was united in marriage to Gervis Capps on November 2, 1941, at Blytheville, Arkansas.
She was a life time resident of the Holland and Steele community. A very faithful member of the Church of Christ, she will be missed very much by all who knew her.
Mrs. Capps leaves her husband, Gervis Capps, of the home;
one daughter, Marla Delle Roberts and her husband, Ron, of Kennett; one grandson, Brandt Roberts, of Savannah, Ga.;
two sisters: Catherine Kellems and Geraldine Young, both of Steele, and a host of relatives and friends.
Services for Mrs. Capps were held at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, March 25, at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with John Mundy officiating. John W. German Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of services.
Pallbearers were James "Bo" Raulerson, Charles Pritchard, John Brown, Howard Henry, Jack Stinnett and John H. Smith.

Note: Her obituary says she had a graveside service Thursday, March 25 at Mt. Zion Cemetery. However, the weather was too bad to hold the graveside service and she was not buried until Friday, April 2nd.
