Alma Jean Johnson, 81, of Steele, Mo., died Saturday, November 15, 2003, in Memphis, Tenn.
Born Wednesday, January 18, 1922, in Steele, she was the daughter of the late Ollie F. Frakes and Almeda LaRue Frakes. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Melba Frakes Lane.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Alma Jean was united in marriage to Olan Johnson in 1940. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Johnson leaves three sisters: Catherine Kellems, Adell Capps and her husband Gervis, and Geraldine Young and her husband Pete, all of Steele.
Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 18, 2003, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with Mr. Bill Lovelace and Mrs. John Mundy officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
