Mr. Eural Bingham and Mr. Mason Harris officiated at the funeral services for Ollie Ferdinand Frakes held Wednesday, September 2,1970, at 4:00 at Boon's Chapel Church of Christ.
Mr. Frakes was born in Tell City, Ind., September 30, 1897, and died Tuesday, September 1,1970, at the age of 72.
He leaves five daughters, Mrs. Catherine Kellems, Mrs. Alma Johnson, and Mrs. Adelle Capps (all of Steele), Mrs. Melba Lane of Blytheville and Mrs. Geraldine Young of West Memphis; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Still and Mrs. Virgie Green, both of Steele; one brother, W. T. Frakes of Steele; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Honorary pall bearers were Buster Cecil, Roscoe Bishop, Martin Hatley, Herman Hatley, Bynum Hester, Isaac McKay, Austin Pfeffer, John H. Smith, Conrad Riding and C.J. Oliver.
Interment was in Mt. Zion with the Original German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
