Mrs. Clara E. King, RD2, widow of George A. King, died this morning in the Carlisle Hospital. She was 68 years old.
Born on Sept. 6, 1895, in Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Kamerer Cornman. She was a member of the North Middleton Church of God and taught the Adult Women's Class of the Sunday School.
She is survived by: four daughters, Mrs. Chester C. Cornman, RD2; Mrs. Lloyd E. Penner, and Mrs. Dean A. Barrick, RD5; Isabel E. King, Newville Road; three sons, George L., Philadelphia; William R., Carlisle and Charles E., at home; a sister, Mrs. John Shearer, Lemoyne; a half brother, Albert Cornman, RD1; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Roth Funeral Home, 169 West High Street. The Rev. William Perry, Sr., pastor of the North Middleton Church of God, will officiate. Burial will be in the North Middleton Church of God Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow evening at the funeral home.
