HYSHAM, MT. --- Jeannette DeCock, 78, died July 15 while attending a Treasure Belles meeting in rural Hysham.

She was born July 2, 1913, in Pease Bottom, the daughter of Herman and Mary Grierson Eldering.
She spent her youth in Pease Bottom and attended the Rancher School, and
graduating from Hysham High School in 1930.

She attended the University of Montana, graduating in 1934, and was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.

She returned to Pease Bottom and worked on the family ranch until her marriage to Henry DeCock on Feb. 4, 1942, in Forsyth, MT.

She worked with Henry on their own place on Pease Bottom until his death in January 1991, and continued to work on the family ranch with her grandson until her death.

She was a member of the Treasure Belles, Presbyterian Church and Montana Cattle Women.

She is survived by her daughter, Jean Agnew of Billings, MT.; two grandsons, Eric Agnew of Hysham and Grant Agnew of Billings; and two nieces, Shirley Redland of Hysham and Marion Nahulu of Hawaii.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hysham.

Interment will be in the Rancher Cemetery, Myers, MT.

Beals Mortuary in Forsyth is in Charge of arrangement.
