HYSHAM, MT. ---- Henry A. DeCock 78, died Jan. 20, in Billings Deaconess Medical Center after a long illness.

He was born Aug. 28, 1912, in St. Kievens Hautem, Belgium, a son of Joseph and Celina Mary DeWinne DeCock.

He came ti the Hysham area when he was seven years old with his mother and attended Hysham High School , graduating from Hysham High School in 1932.

He lived in Belgium with his parents for two years and then returned to the family ranch at Pease Bottom where he lived since.

On Feb. 4, 1942 he married Jeanette Eldering in Forsyth.

He was appointed a Treasure County Commissioner in 1960 and he held that position until his death.

He loved sports, was active as an MOA official and followed the athletic programs in Hysham.

He was popular with the youth in Hysham and enjoyed being with them.

He was a charter member of the Hysham Lion Club and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter Jean Agnew of Billings, MT., two grandsons, Eric Agnew of Hysham, MT., and Grant Agnew of Billings, MT.

He was preceded in death by his son Jack in 1969.

Rosary will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with funeral Mass to Follow at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Burial will be in the Rancher Cemetery, Myers, MT.

Beals Mortuary in Forsyth is in charge.
