A very pretty wedding took place in Greason on Thursday evening, December 15, 1927, at 8 o'clock, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur H. Royer, when their only daughter, Sara Clark Line Royer, was united in marriage to Charles Edgar Eppley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar W. Eppley, Carlisle R.D. 3.
The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Frank H. Sanders, of York, Pa., in the presence of the immediate relatives and a few intimate friends of the couple. Miss Evelyn Stine, of Plainfield, sang "O Promise Me," accompanied by her sister, Freda. Miss Stine also played the wedding march from "Lohengrin."
The bride wore white silk with veil and carried swet (sic) peas, and entered the parlor on the arm of her father, who gave her in marriage.
After congratulations, refreshments were served and amidst a shower of rice the young couple left by motor on a wedding trip to Washington, D.C.
