He was born Feb 9, 1889, in Henry County, the son of Henry and Emeline (Sand) Jaquet, and was married to the former Anna Vaughan Dec 18, 1912, at Tampico. Following her death he was married to the former Vera Nass Nov. 14, 1960, at Dixon.
His first wife, three sisters and three brothers preceded him in death. Three daughters preceded him.
Survivors include his widow, Vera; one son, Gilbrert, Franklin Grove; one brother, Floyd, Horseshoe Bend, Ore; three grandxhildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services wiull be held Monday at 1:30 p.m., in Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Merle Hall; pastor First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
His brother, George 96592665, married Anna's sister, Gertrude Vaughan 96592769. They are buried in Chapel Hill

The farm he and Anna owned is where The Old Srone Barn is in Franklin Grove. The farm he later purchased is now apart of the Franklin Creek Park.
