Lillian Schneider Hare, 98, formerly of Savannah, died April 6, in a Houston, Texas nursing home. A native of Andrew County, Mo., Mrs. Hare moved to Ormond Florida, after her husband's retirement from The Home Bank. After her husband's death, Roscoe G. Hare, in April 1969, she moved to Houston. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, and church organist for many years, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 223, and P.E.O. Sisterhood, all of Savannah. She is survived by a son, Meredith, Houston; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Roberta Lester (in May 1975, Shreveport). Funeral services were conducted April 10th in the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Leonard A. Williams officiating. Services were under the direction of the Breit & Hawkins Funeral Home.
