She was born in Cosby, Mo., and had been a resident of St Joseph all of her life. Her home was at 524 North 12th street. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Caroline Schneider and was a member of the Ashland Avenue Methodist Church.
Mrs. Rucker is survived by a son, Doyle E. Rucker of the home, owner of the Rucker Supply Co.; two sisters, Mrs. Della Reed of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Lillian Hare of Savannah, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at the Heaton-Bowman chapel. The Rev. Louis Schowengerdt will officiate and burial will be at Fairview Cemetery." St Joseph Gazette, September 7, 1965
